Adult formation

During the summer of 2014, Scott Sterner will lead a series of studies that focus on parts of the less-frequently-read New Testament books that are particularly relevant to us today:
  • July 13 — Following God in a Hostile World (1 Thessalonians)
  • July 20 — Following God in a Hostile World (1 Peter)
  • August 10 — False and True Teachers (1 & 2 Timothy)
  • August 17 — False and True Teachers (1 John)
  • August 24 — False and True Teachers (2 Peter and Jude)

Although certain themes span these books, each session stands alone, so you do not have to attend earlier sessions to fully participate in later sessions.

Adult formation meets for one hour starting at  9:10 AM on Sunday mornings in the Parish Hall.  The interactive classes cover a variety of topics, and are designed and taught by people with special competencies. Our many qualified presenters have included seminary grads, a past college president, and an author.

The goal is to grow up to full stature and strength as followers of Jesus Christ, and to be able to share an account of the hope that is within us.

You can listen to previous adult formation sessions here and in the archives.
